An implant-supported denture is a type of denture that attaches securely to dental implants placed in your jawbone, rather than simply resting on your gums like traditional dentures.
The process begins with our dentists at Singleton Smiles surgically placing several small titanium posts (dental implants) into your jawbone. These implants act as artificial tooth roots and, over the following months, fuse with your natural bone through a process called osseointegration. Once this healing is complete, we attach special connectors to the implants that allow your custom-made denture to click securely into place.
